Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Zuhairah held several regional general management roles at Uber, including full P&L responsibility for one of its top five markets in the U.S. and running East Coast operations for its fintech startup subsidiary. Before that she founded and served as CEO of Kahnoodle, an innovative VC-backed relationship startup. Earlier, Zuhairah lived and worked in Barcelona, Dubai and London as the Director of Business Development for Europe’s largest local search and user-generated review website, QYPE, which was subsequently acquired by Yelp. She began her management career as a Regional Vice President at MacFarlane Partners, a high-growth real estate private equity firm.

Zuhairah earned a BA in Political Science from UCLA with distinction and then went on to earn a MBA and a Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) degree from Harvard University. Outside of work, she is an active angel investor and sits on the U.S. nonprofit board of Accion, whose mission is to build a financially inclusive world. Zuhairah has had numerous speaking engagements and published several articles. Married with two young sons, she is an avid world traveler.
