Pete Agnes is active in Egon Zehnder’s Financial Services and Private Equity Practices, helping clients navigate the ongoing changes within Global Capital Markets, Asset Management, and FinTech. He also taps into his passion and experience as an athlete to serve clients in the firm’s Sports Practice.

Developing relationships, understanding others’ passions and goals, and contributing to their success and development as leaders are my inspiration in working with clients and candidates. I am energized by finding ways to help individuals grow and teams win.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Pete was a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Caxton Associates, Managing Director and Global Head of the Credit Opportunities Group at Barclays Capital, and a Director within the Global Credit Strategies Group at UBS.

Pete serves on the Board of Minds Matter, a nonprofit that provides college preparation and mentoring to low-income, high-performing high school students across the United States. He also sits on the Executive Board of Boston-based sports technology focused venture capital firm Will Ventures. He holds an MBA from Duke University and a BA from Dartmouth College, and he is a CFA charterholder.

Outside of work, he enjoys traveling with his wife and three children, coaching youth sports, fishing, and skiing.
