Tim McNicholas is the Managing Partner of Egon Zehnder’s Boston office and leads our Human Resource practice in the United States. Tim has led the practice for several years and brings experience leading many of the largest CHRO/CPO searches conducted by the firm. Tim brings knowledge across best practices in talent management, rewards, HR business partnering, and HR operations.

Human resources has an increasingly strategic impact on business leadership. I understand the broad capabilities required to help human resources support companies as they transform and grow.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Tim worked in the fields of executive development and management consulting. In his roles as Vice President Executive Development at Siemens AG, Tim worked directly with the CEO, CFO, and CHRO to develop and execute new international hiring strategies to tap global sources of talent. Tim helped to redesign and launch new succession planning roadmaps and talent acceleration plans driving improved talent visibility. Tim was also responsible for the complete redesign of the executive education curriculum for the top 250 executives globally leading to new immersive learning courses that focused on leadership and collaboration. As the leader of Siemens Management Consulting in New York, Tim led strategy and operational improvement projects for the Siemens business executives in North America. He also spent time earlier in his career at A.T. Kearney and Booz-Allen Hamilton consulting to pharmaceutical and consumer products companies.

Tim has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Ohio State University and a Masters of Business Administration from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
