A trusted advisor to clients across multiple sectors and markets, Charlie draws on his deep industry experience to provide a mix of leadership search, assessment and development services. Charlie is a founding member of Egon Zehnder’s LGBTQ+ and allies community ez+ and is playing a key role driving the Firm’s efforts to embed a differentiated and market-leading global approach to diversity, equity and inclusion across its core service offerings. Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Charlie was the Chief of Staff supporting the Global Firmwide Managing Partner of Linklaters LLP in London. Before that, he worked for several years as an antitrust and regulatory lawyer at that firm and previously at Gilbert + Tobin in Australia where he started his career, advising clients in the mining, media, aviation, construction, and retail sectors. Charlie also served as the Public Policy Manager in the Corporate and Public Affairs Team of the Australian retail conglomerate Woolworths Group Limited.
Charlie earned a BA and Bachelor of Law (with Honours) from the Australian National University and a Postgraduate Diploma in European competition law from King’s College London. Outside work, Charlie and his husband enjoy travelling, exploring the world and the occasional half-marathon.
