Olli Lauren serves as a senior adviser in Washington DC. He is also a member of Egon Zehnder’s Global Machinery & Industrial Technology practice. Olli also works extensively with the forest value chain and packaging industries. Olli advises the leading public and family held companies on their top leadership issues. His focus is on boards, CEO succession and C-suite appointments. Olli is a core member of the firm’s CEO and Board Consulting practices.

When the status quo gets in the way of progress, I enjoy challenging perceived wisdom to create high-performing cultures.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Olli managed his family owned franchise chain in Scandinavia. Previously, he was Sales & Marketing Director, Country President, and Regional President at Coats Viyella Plc. He began his career in the packaging industry.

Olli has a BA in economics from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. He is a classically trained violinist who serves on a Canadian boarding school board and also enjoys boating.
