Based in Istanbul, Demet Türker Gunduz is active mainly in Egon Zehnder’s Industrial, Services, and Family Business practices. She has extensive experience in recruiting senior leaders, applying her agile mind built on broad and deep expertise acquired during many years in the industry.

I’m a lifelong learner. I am energized and nurtured by learning through career journeys of the people I meet and helping our clients find the best potential.

Demet was the Head of Research at Egon Zehnder for 14 years before embarking on a consulting career. Before joining Egon Zehnder, she spent a decade at Sabanci Holding, one of Turkey’s leading conglomerates, as the Customer Services Manager.

Demet earned a BA in Economics from Marmara University, attended Management Programme at New York University School of Continuing Studies, and earned an Executive MBA from Koç University in Istanbul. Alongside her native Turkish, she is fluent in English. Outside of work, Demet enjoys reading children’s books with her daughter, traveling and trying new tastes from international cuisines. She is deeply interested in philanthropy and convinced of the value and importance of sharing and helping others.
