Cleo De Laet, based in Brussels, is a consultant at Egon Zehnder. Working across executive and board search, she brings a particular focus on leadership development, team effectiveness and executive coaching.
I’m endlessly curious about people, their stories, their ambitions, and what truly energizes them. Supporting leaders in finding the right place to thrive and seeing the positive impact that creates for both their teams and organizations gives me great joy and purpose.
Before joining Egon Zehnder, Cleo spent over four years at McKinsey & Company, advising leading European financial institutions on strategy, large-scale transformations and operational risk topics. Earlier in her career, she lived in Copenhagen, where she completed an internship with fashion designer Henrik Vibskov before working in design and product development for the Danish design brand Mater. These experiences shaped her belief that the strongest organizations are those where great leaders inspire those around them, so they feel empowered to contribute with creativity and authenticity.
Cleo holds a master’s degree in Engineering: Architecture from Ghent University and is currently completing a master’s in Executive Coaching at Ashridge in UK. Outside work, Cleo enjoys spending time creatively in her garden and going on adventures with her family.
