Philip Schwarz, based in both Malmö and Stockholm, is passionate about helping clients manage change. Part of Egon Zehnder’s Industry and Digital practices, he draws on relevant leadership experience across multiple industries and corporate structures, including joint stock, family run, and private equity, as well as the entire exit process. Philip conducts executive search and leadership development for the entire spectrum of senior roles such as CEOs, CFOs and business area leaders.

Before coming to Egon Zehnder, Philip was the CEO of Kellfri, a farming equipment sales company, transformed from a catalogue company to a digital on-line sales model, prior he was the CEO of a company specialized in packaging equipment and supplies, and before that he headed Emotron (automation and drive systems). All of these companies were undergoing a fundamental change process that included repositioning, restructuring, integration, and consolidation. Earlier, Philip held the role of CMO at Cardo, a global equipment manufacturer serving the water and wastewater industry that is now part of SULZER. He began his career as a management trainee at ABB and spent a total of seven years at that company, mainly in the field of utility automation. Philip has worked in both Sweden and the United States.
Philip earned an MBA at the Lund University School of Economics and Management. He also attended ABB’s executive training program at IMD, in Lausanne, and the Managing Global R&D and Innovation (IMOT) program of Chalmers University of Technology, in Gothenburg. Philip is the father and stepfather to five children.
