Before joining Egon Zehnder, Carlos gained broad hands-on management experience in online services. Among other things, he was the General Manager for Latin America at BYJU’S, the largest EdTech in the world that provides live instruction to children across the globe; a Partner of Gerbera Capital, specialized firm in venture capital and asset management; General Manager for Mexico at BEAT, an innovative ride hailing app with a large footprint in LATAM; CEO of Kiwilimón, a digital platform for food recipes; and a Consultant with The Boston Consulting Group in Mexico City. Carlos launched his career as an Assistant Brand Manager in Procter & Gable overseeing Family and Feminine Care brands.
Carlos earned a BS in industrial engineering from the prestigious Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management. Outside work, he enjoys running in competitive marathons and exploring the world with his wife.
