Khalid Balghunaim is active in the services, technology, and private capital practice groups at Egon Zehnder. He draws on his extensive and diverse experience to help organizations secure the right leadership for their most critical roles, guiding clients in executive search, leadership appraisal and development, and board advisory.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Khalid was the General Manager of noon (the largest ecommerce platform in the Middle East), where he played a pivotal role in launching and scaling the company’s Saudi operations. Previously, he was the Head of Private Equity at Jada Fund of Funds, where he worked closely with regional private equity firms allocating to funds in F&B, Healthcare, Oil & Gas, Consumer Goods, and others. He also led strategic industrial joint ventures at Dussur. After his MBA, he joined Bain & Company, advising clients across the gulf in various sectors.
Khalid holds a Finance & Economics degree with honors from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals and earned his MBA at INSEAD. Outside of work Khalid enjoys running, golf, and spending time with family and friends.
