Adam Lessler, based in New York, is a consultant in Egon Zehnder’s Health Practice Group. With nearly 20 years of experience across the provider and life sciences segments, he helps organizations tackle complex leadership, organizational, and growth challenges. Adam brings a distinctive perspective shaped by experience as a physician, management consultant, and healthcare investor, combining strategic problem-solving with deep industry knowledge and a relationship-driven approach.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Adam spent 11 years at Evidity Health Capital, a growth equity and venture capital firm focused on medical technology, where he most recently served as a Partner. Earlier in his career, he was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, advising healthcare organizations on strategy and transformation. He began his healthcare career as a resident physician at the University of Pennsylvania Health System, following earlier roles at Harvard Medical School and Goldman Sachs.
Adam holds an MBA in Healthcare Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, an MD from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, and a BA in Economics from Amherst College. He also completed a Certificate in Premedical Studies from Columbia University and maintains an active New York State medical license. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, attending concerts, and following New York sports teams. He is also active in community organizations, serving on the Edgemont Community Council and as co-founder and treasurer of The Healthcare Club, a healthcare networking organization in New York City.
