Peter spent over 30 years in investment banking advising corporates and private equity firms on M&A and capital markets related matters across a wide variety of industries in the UK and internationally. He was a Managing Director at UBS Warburg (previously SG Warburg) before becoming a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs and was subsequently Head of UK Investment Banking at Lazard and Chairman of European Investment Banking at Canaccord Genuity. Prior to investment banking, Peter started his career at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. In addition to his role at Egon Zehnder, he is a senior adviser to OMERS Private Equity, Chairman of Lifeways, (an OMERS portfolio investment), and a Non-Executive Director of London First.

Developing relationships with clients and providing them with objective advice was at the core of my investment banking career. I find it rewarding to be able to do the same with clients from the perspective of their leadership needs.

Peter holds an MA in Natural Sciences (Chemistry) from Downing College, Cambridge.
