Egon Zehnder Hosts Cybersecurity Dinner
How to respond to cyber threats in an increasingly dangerous environment was the focus of the recent cybersecurity dinner 2015 hosted by Egon Zehnder in Dallas, Texas. The dinner was attended by general counsels, chief information security officers and heads of corporate communications from a wide range of industries. Their discussions revealed that companies need better internal sensors for detecting network intruders and should monitor their systems continually (even at weekends). In a security breach scenario, best practices were identified as hiring a forensic team to find out exactly what happened and exercising caution when disclosing information about the size and scope of a hack.
