Ran Wu is a Partner and trusted advisor for MNC and Chinese local clients. He leads Egon Zehnder’s China automotive practice and advises industrial, automotive, technology and private-equity backed companies globally. Ran partners with clients on executive and board search engagements, CEO succession planning, management assessment and leadership development. In addition to his work within the automotive sector, Ran has advised many Chinese clients to address their cross-boarder leadership needs.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Ran served as Vice President of Sales with Federal-Mogul Corporation, responsible for all commercial activities in China. Before returning to China, he served as Sales Director for Ignition and EIT products with Federal-Mogul, based in Detroit, US. He also worked for Delphi Corporation in progressive commercial and technical roles, with special focus on powertrain control systems and components. Ran began his career as a sales engineer in electronics industry.
Ran earned an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business in the US, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University in the US, and a BS in Engineering Mechanics from Shanghai Jiaotong University.
