Michel Grebenikof, based in Dubai, co-leads Egon Zehnder’s Industrial Practice Group in the Middle East. His vast experience and deep acumen across the energy, engineering and manufacturing sectors have made him a trusted advisor to corporate clients.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Michel served as Vice President of Business Solutions at Yokogawa in Abu Dhabi, heading the Business Solutions Group. Before that he held the role of Regional Director of Strategy, Sales and Business Development at Honeywell, in Dubai, focusing on downstream energy, petrochemicals and NOCs. During Michel’s tenure there he created client master plans to optimize and integrate oil & gas assets and was instrumental in generating half a billion USD revenue pipeline, in addition to coordinating relations with regional authorities as Honeywell Ambassador. Earlier, he was a highly successful Regional Business Development Manager for MEA at BASF in France. Michel launched his career as an energy and utilities process engineer with Royal Dutch Shell.
Michel earned an MSc in Polytechnic Engineering and a MSc in Advanced Technologies from the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble (INPG) in France, an MSc in Advanced Technologies for the Energy Industry from the Institut Français du Pétrole et des Moteurs (IFP and ENSPM, France), and an MBA from INSEAD in France, Abu Dhabi and Singapore. He is passionate about Arabic literature and has published a series of Arabic poetry books and been interviewed on Lebanese TV.
