Tankut Sensurucu, based in London, leads the UK Supply Chain and Procurement Practice. His passion is enabling transformational leadership with particular focus on Supply Chain, Marketing and Digital in consumer companies. He has extensive experience in recruiting and mentoring senior leaders as well as improving effectiveness of boards and management teams. Tankut also advises family businesses on governance, succession and talent management.

I feel passionately about formulating pragmatic solutions to complex business and organizational problems while advising great leaders in their career journey.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Tankut was the New Beverages Director for Coca-Cola’s Central Europe division, where he led marketing, innovation and M&A activities. Earlier, he managed Coca-Cola’s expansion in Central and Eastern Europe. Tankut began his career with PepsiCo, where he established new business in Central Europe and former CIS countries.

Tankut completed AMP at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France, has an MSc in Operations Management from Ball State University, in the USA, and a BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bogazici University, in Turkey. Prior to moving to the UK, Tankut has lived and worked in Turkey, Canada, Italy, Hungary, Poland, Austria and the USA. He serves on the advisory board of Darussafaka, a 150+ year-old institution that provides education for gifted orphans. He was an adjunct professor of leadership at Ozyegin University and served on the advisory board of Young Guru Academy, a youth mentoring and leadership development initiative. An avid basketball player, Tankut believes that sports, like education, have the power to improve lives and bring people closer together.
