I believe that unlocking human potential is the most powerful driver to shape our world
Before joining Egon Zehnder, Giovanni was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he helped global corporations and governments address their most pressing issues. During his time at McKinsey, Giovanni nurtured his passion for defining innovative strategies and helping organizations evolve accordingly. This included creating new business units, designing workforce strategies, introducing innovative ways of working, and delivering advanced capability-building programs. Through his work with the People & Organizational Performance Practice, Giovanni contributed to shaping McKinsey’s perspective on the Future of Work, drawing upon insights from different sectors and disciplines.
After completing his undergraduate studies in economics, Giovanni graduated at the top of his class from Bocconi University’s MSc in International Management, with a focus on organizational behavior. He then earned an MBA with distinction from INSEAD, while studying across Asia, the Middle East and Europe and coauthoring publications on the impact of technology on the cultural sector. Outside work, Giovanni is passionate about art, literature, and music. Yet, he spends most of his free time trying to keep up with his wife, Charlotte, on hikes, routes, slopes, and unbeaten paths around the world.
