Kevin Lai, based in Singapore, is the Global Health Practice Co-Leader. He is deeply experienced within the health sector, with more than 16 years of experience, as well as within the consumer industry. He advises healthcare companies on Board and C-level positions including succession planning of key executives. He is also involved in the assessment and development of senior executives. Other than Health, Kevin is a core member of the Consumer and Family Business Advisory practices.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Kevin was an Executive Director of the Singapore Economic Development Board, guiding national strategy, policy, and infrastructure development for the health and consumer industries. He worked closely with senior management teams from global healthcare companies to chart their investment plans in Asia, particularly in Singapore. Previously, he directed EDB’s operations in Northern Europe and Russia. Healthcare has been an area of interest for Kevin. He is a guest lecturer at Essec Business School in Singapore. He also mentors several healthcare start-ups founded by young entrepreneurs in the country.
Kevin has a B.Eng with honors in chemical engineering from the University of Sheffield in the U.K. He enjoys spending time with his family, home improvement projects, and reading.
