Marta Kowalska-Marrodán, based in Hamburg, works with top leadership teams in Germany and worldwide. She advises entrepreneurs, family businesses, and private equity firms on CEO succession and senior leadership development. Marta is active in Egon Zehnder’s Leadership Advisory, Consumer, and Financial Services practices.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Marta led her own business organizing international conferences. She was also a journalist and news producer with Interpress Press Agency in Warsaw and covered the founding of Poland’s first non-Communist government. Marta began her career with Wang Laboratories and oversaw the company’s sales and services activities in Poland.
Marta has an MA in languages and history from the University of Warsaw and an MBA from Ashridge Management College in the UK. She enjoys cross-country skiing, golf, biking in the mountains, and reading.

Vor ihrem Eintritt bei Egon Zehnder leitete Marta Kowalska-Marrodán ein eigenes Unternehmen in ihrer Heimat Polen und organisierte internationale Konferenzen zur Vertiefung der Zusammenarbeit mit europäischen Institutionen im Zuge des EU-Beitritts des Landes. Als Journalistin und TV-Nachrichten-Produzentin bei Interpress in Warschau baute sie schon früh ein internationales Netzwerk auf und berichtete über die historischen Veränderungen in Polen besonders im Jahr 1989. Ihre berufliche Karriere startete sie bei Wang Laboratories, zuerst als Praktikantin in Wien. Später wurde ihr die Geschäftsleitung der Niederlassung von Wang in Polen übertragen, wo sie die Bereiche Vertrieb und Service aufbaute und leitete.
Marta Kowalska-Marrodán erwarb einen M.A. in Sprachwissenschaften und Geschichte an der Universität Warschau und studierte Betriebswirtschaft (MBA) am Ashridge Management College, UK.
