Dominik Schaller, Managing Partner Switzerland leads our Zurich office and focuses on senior executive and board searches in insurance and banking. He also supports executive teams and boards on individual and team assessments, succession planning, and leadership development. Dominik is active across Egon Zehnder’s Financial Services, Financial Officers, Board Consulting, and Executive Assessment and Development practices.

Before becoming a member of Egon Zehnder’s team, Dominik was in institutional asset management with Bank Julius Baer & Co. That was preceded by a stint as Engagement Manager for McKinsey & Company, focusing on insurance and banking.
Dominik earned an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France, a PhD in physics from the University of Basel, and an MSc in physics from the University of Michigan. He loves spending time with his family and exploring the world with his two sons, and he is an ardent fan of FC Basel.

Er unterstützt Führungsgremien und Boards bei Einzel- und Teambeurteilungen, bei der Nachfolgeplanung und der Entwicklung von Führungspersönlichkeiten. Dominik Schaller ist in den Praxisgruppen Financial Services, Finanzvorstände, Board Consulting und Executive Assessment und Development von Egon Zehnder tätig.
Bevor er zu Egon Zehnder kam, war Dominik Schaller in der institutionellen Vermögensverwaltung der Bank Julius Bär & Co. tätig. Davor war er Engagement Manager bei McKinsey & Company, mit dem Schwerpunkt Versicherungen und Banken.

Er verbringt gerne Zeit mit seiner Familie, erkundet mit seinen beiden Söhnen die Welt und ist ein leidenschaftlicher Fan des Fußballvereins FC Basel.
