Based in Melbourne, Margot is a member of Egon Zehnder’s Industrial & Technology Practices. She draws on her industry and consulting experience in the mining, oil & gas and energy sectors to help clients meet people-related challenges in today’s rapidly changing world. Margot is passionate about large-scale performance & culture transformation enabled by leadership development.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Margot served heavy industry companies across Australia and North America with McKinsey & Company including leading large-scale transformation programs in mining, oil & gas, fintech and telecommunications – all programs had material focus on culture, digital enablement of the business and org-wide capability-building. As a chemical engineer by training, Margot started her career in oil & gas operations with Schlumberger, where she held roles in land & offshore field operations, health & safety, and new technology roll-out.
Margot earned Bachelor degrees in Chemical Engineering (1st Class Hons) and Commerce from the University of Melbourne. Margot also mentors teenagers through the Raise Australia Foundation.
