Margot Franklin-Hensler

Based in Melbourne, Margot is an active member of Egon Zehnder’s Industrial Practice. She draws on extensive industry and consulting experience in the mining, oil & gas and energy sectors to help clients meet people-related challenges in today’s rapidly changing world. Margot is passionate about large-scale performance & culture transformation and decarbonisation through leadership development.

I am privileged to work with organisations to bring leaders with the right mindset into the right place at the right time.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Margot served heavy industry companies across Australia and North America as an Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company. She launched her career at Schlumberger, a global provider of oilfield services, where she held roles in field operations and management, remote operations delivery, health & safety, digital operations for land and offshore projects.

Margot earned bachelor degrees in chemical engineering and commerce from the University of Melbourne. In her spare time, she loves running with her dog (Molly), planning overseas adventures and gardening. Margot also mentors at-risk youth through the Raise Australia Foundation.
