Based in Dallas, Maggie Steenland leads Egon Zehnder’s U.S. Aviation Practice and is a key contributor to the firm’s Travel and Hospitality segment. She is an active member of the Services and Consumer Practices. Maggie advises boards and CEOs on senior leadership appointments, with particular focus on CEO, customer, and commercial roles. She works with clients across aviation, travel, hospitality, transportation, and logistics, supporting leadership decisions in complex, customer-driven operating environments.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Maggie held senior roles at American Airlines across commercial strategy, finance, and corporate development, partnering closely with leadership on enterprise-level initiatives. She later worked at Salesforce, advising clients on commercial strategy and customer transformation. Earlier in her career, she worked in communications at NBC News in New York.
Maggie holds a BA from Georgetown University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
