Edouard Murat, based in Paris, is an active member of Egon Zehnder’s Industrial and Services practices and coordinates the firm’s Supply Chain Practice in France. He is recognized for his expertise in the energy transition (including solar, wind, hydrogen, and battery technologies), the mobility sector (rental services, transportation and logistics, and rail) and the machinery and equipment sector. He is deeply passionate about carbon neutral mobility and disruptive innovation and is strongly committed to driving major business transformations—particularly in areas such as in digitalization of operations, Industry 4.0, and the application of AI in the industry. In addition, Edouard contributes actively to Egon Zehnder’s Tech practice, drawing on his broad experience to support clients in achieving their strategic goals. Known for his energy and enthusiasm, he combines a direct communication style with a constructively challenging approach.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Edouard worked at Schneider Electric, in the engineering services space, for tech and services scale-ups, and for Google AI in California. He has also been a founder in the Silicon Valley: he knows what scale-ups get through and enjoys working with scale-ups and funds.
Edouard Murat earned an MSc in engineering from MINES ParisTech and an MBA from INSEAD in Singapore and in France.
