Christian Spremberg, based in São Paulo, leads Egon Zehnder’s Board Practice in Brazil and its Industrial Practice in South America. He is a trusted advisor on corporate governance issues, CEO succession, and board effectiveness. Christian is especially experienced in helping large industrial and family-owned and -controlled companies address their key business challenges.

I link talent management and governance directly to company strategy. I enjoy helping clients see the importance of this and proactively supporting them in managing their talent pipeline and talents.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Christian was the President of Reifenhäuser Ltda., the Brazilian subsidiary of a family-owned and -managed German OEM in the plastics processing industry. Before that he was the Senior Market Manager of the Engineering Plastics Division of BASF AG in Germany. Christian launched his career in Brazil as the Technical Manager of a subsidiary of Uhde GmbH, a German engineering and manufacturing company.

Christian earned a BS in mechanical engineering from Mackenzie University in São Paulo and an MBA from the International Institute for Management - IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland. He is also an Associate Integral Coach trained and accredited by the Integral Coaching Institute in Ottawa, Canada.
