Mihir Sheth

Mihir Sheth, based in Mumbai, is active in Egon Zehnder’s Industrial, Private Capital and Family Business Advisory practices. He is passionate about advising clients on important issues related to succession, governance and organizational structure, and helping them make critical people-related decisions.

What excites me most is helping people to unleash their full potential. I enjoy building deep, meaningful relationships with clients and encouraging them to think through important decisions.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Mihir was the President for Industrials at MMTC-PAMP, Asia’s largest gold and silver refinery, where he set up a new business to produce silver-based components for the electrical equipment industry. Before that, he founded two ventures of his own: a provider of student loans for vocational training and an agro commodities trading business. Earlier, Mihir was part of the team that implemented India’s national Aadhaar ID project. He started his career as an investment banker at Lehman Brothers in Hong Kong.

Mihir earned a B.A. in economics from Harvard University. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, reading, and playing sports. Mihir is also active in the Harvard alumni community and has been interviewing applicants for the last eight years.
