Francisco Paret, based in New York, leads Egon Zehnder’s Financial Services Practice in the Americas. He serves a broad spectrum of clients across the banking, capital markets, asset management, and alternative investments sectors. Francisco advises clients on C-level executive search, director search, succession planning, and leadership assessment and development. He has worked with organizations across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Francisco was in investment banking for over 10 years, advising companies, private equity funds, and senior government officials in the US and Latin America on capital-raising transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. He was a Partner and Managing Director with Duff & Phelps LLC, a middle-market financial advisory and investment banking firm. Previously, Francisco was a Director in Credit Suisse First Boston’s Technology Investment Banking Group, where he led the Corporate Finance Execution team and advised companies across a broad spectrum of technology segments.
Francisco earned a BSBA, with concentrations in International Management and Finance, from Georgetown University, and an MBA from The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania. He was appointed by President George W. Bush to serve on his Presidential Advisory Commission on Educational Excellence for Hispanic Americans, and was a founding partner and board member of Social Venture Partners of the Bay Area, a venture philanthropy organization based in San Francisco, focused on issues of youth and education.
