Frank Alexa is Head of the European Consumer Practice Group at Egon Zehnder. He is specialized in consumer goods and retail, in particular in the areas of digital, e-commerce and omnichannel. While supporting his clients in staffing executive positions, he mainly focuses on board and CEO functions, as well as on experts for e-commerce and digital issues. Frank Alexa has profound experience in consulting family-owned companies, international corporations, start-ups and medium-sized companies.


Before joining Egon Zehnder, Frank Alexa worked as Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company in Cologne. In this position, he consulted clients from Europe, Africa and Australia with regard to strategy development, digital business transformation and category management. Initially, Frank had started his career as project manager at Bilfinger Berger Concessions in Sydney.

Frank Alexa holds a diploma in Business Administration from Mannheim University and a PhD in Business Administration from the Institute for Marketing and Management of Leibniz University Hannover.
