Based in Boston and St. Louis, Mark Stuart-Smith is active in Egon Zehnder’s Consumer and Leadership Advisory practices. Mark focuses on CEO, senior executive, and board placements, assessments, and coaching. He is appreciated by clients across the packaged goods, retail, digital, services and hospitality industries for his insight and advice in strengthening their management teams.

Before becoming an Egon Zehnder consultant, Mark worked in our CEO Advisory Group. He applies his deep consulting experience to help clients with CEO and board succession issues and advises C-suite executives as they transition to new and expanded roles. He spent the previous 15 years in consulting, serving clients across personal care, beauty, household care, food & beverage, and consumer durables segments. He has built up expertise across general management, marketing, digital, innovation, and strategy functions.
Mark earned a BA in English literature and history from Vassar College and completed an MBA in marketing, strategy, and management from NYU’s Stern School of Business. Outside work, Mark, his husband, and their son enjoy going to the opera and theater, fine dining, and taking their dogs on long walks in the park.
