Based in Singapore, Burcu Bicakci has spent her career helping companies and their leaders succeed in the digitizing world. She is active in Egon Zehnder’s Technology & Communications Practice ; also led Communications and Connectivity globally for more than three years, acquiring deep industry expertise across the broader telecoms ecosystem, including OTT and digital companies. Burcu’s main focuses are on digital transformation and technology; she is especially passionate about defining the further evolution of leadership as technology permeates all organizations. She is a trusted talent strategy advisor to clients in South East Asia and other emerging markets, providing services that span executive search, leadership development, management appraisals, organisational design, and cultural transformation.

Sometimes I walk out of a meeting with a new perspective on life, feeling that I have touched a person’s life and career choice. These are the moments when I love my job most.

Burcu’s focus on and passion for technology predate her arrival at Egon Zehnder in 2010. Prior to joining the Firm, she was a business development and sales executive at Dell with responsibility for Central and Eastern Europe. Earlier, Burcu spent nearly a decade as an information technology executive at Procter & Gamble.

Burcu earned a BS in industrial engineering from Boğaziçi University in Istanbul and an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. She makes a point of learning from great people and colleagues every day. As the mother of a child, Burcu is especially passionate about empowering the next generation of female leaders.
