Roopa Foley leads Egon Zehnder’s Financial Services Practice across the Americas. Roopa works most closely with Boards on Board Searches, Board Effectiveness, short and long term CEO Succession, and CEO Search. Roopa is trained in assessment and development and has led Team Journeys and Executive Development programs, particularly for succession candidates. Roopa’s clients range from the most global financial services organizations to regional banks and credit unions.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Roopa was Managing Director and Regional Manager for the Dallas and Houston offices of Barclays Wealth & Asset Management. Earlier, she was a Director with Lehman Brothers Private Investment Management. At Lehman and Barclays, Roopa was a founding member of Women’s Employee Resource Group.
Roopa has an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a BS in Chemical Engineering from MIT. Roopa served on Duke’s Global Alumni Association Board and volunteers regularly with her family. Roopa lives in Dallas, TX with her family. Outside of work enjoys playing golf, renovating homes, and yoga.
