Roopa Foley co-leads Egon Zehnder’s global Financial Services practice. Drawing from her extensive experience in the financial services and tech sectors, she is a trusted board advisor, specializing in board advisory, evaluations, effectiveness, board search and succession, and CEO succession—both immediate and long-term. Roopa partners closely with her clients to jointly create bespoke solutions spanning assessment and search. She spends most of her time with a range of clients including global financial institutions, regional banks, credit unions, and fintech companies.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Roopa was Managing Director and Regional Manager for the Dallas and Houston offices of Barclays Wealth & Asset Management. Earlier, she was a Director with Lehman Brothers Private Investment Management. At Lehman and Barclays, Roopa was a founding member of Women’s Employee Resource Group.
Roopa has an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a BS in Chemical Engineering from MIT. Roopa served on Duke’s Global Alumni Association Board. She lives in Dallas, TX, and outside of work, she enjoys playing golf, reading historical fiction, and practicing yoga.
