Áine Flanagan, based in Dublin, leads Egon Zehnder’s Dublin office and partners with clients across Ireland, the UK, and Europe on executive search and leadership advisory projects. Drawing on her deep expertise in consumer and digital industries, Áine specializes in initiatives that drive growth, transformation, and cultural change. She is active in Egon Zehnder’s Consumer, Technology & AI, and Executive Assessment and Development practices, supporting CEO succession and senior leadership development.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Áine was Chief People Officer at Wayflyer, a Dublin headquartered fintech unicorn. Prior to that she spent over a decade in a variety of commercial and strategic leadership roles with Paddy Power/ Betfair/ Flutter plc. Her roles included Managing Director of UK/ Ireland for Paddy Power Betfair and global Chief Strategy Officer for Flutter plc. Áine began her career as a strategy consultant with The Parthenon Group based in their San Francisco and London offices.
She holds an MBA from INSEAD and a degree in Economics from Harvard University. She is an accredited executive and team coach and serves on the board of UNICEF Ireland. Outside work, she spends time with her husband, two young children and puppy. When possible she loves to read and spend time by the sea or in nature.
