Andrew Hwang, based in Chicago, is an active member of Egon Zehnder’s Financial Services practice. He brings more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry to help his clients with executive search, leadership advisory and succession planning across sectors, including asset management, banking and capital markets, private equity and fintech. Andrew is also active in the Technology Officers practice, focused on CIO, CTO and Chief Data Officer roles across industries.

I find the rarest corporate asset to be inspiration – those leaders who propel their teams to greater heights than previously thought possible. I am proud to help match such leaders with organizations that aspire to grow, making each better and stronger together.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Andrew was at Citadel, where he served as Deputy COO for the hedge fund and Head of Strategy and Special Initiatives for Citadel Securities, the market making unit. Before that he held roles at McKinsey & Co. as a Senior Engagement Manager and JP Morgan Chase within Healthcare Business Development.

He earned a BS in mechanical engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern. In his life outside of work, Andrew enjoys tennis, singing, cooking and spending time with his wife and three children.
