Based in France, Raphaël Czuwak is a Partner and a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. He previously served as Managing Director for Egon Zehnder in France and led the global Financial Services Practice. Since joining Egon Zehnder in 2001, Raphaël has conducted numerous executive search and leadership development assignments, focusing on the assessment, development and coaching of senior executives and teams. His work has primarily centered on CEO succession, board advisory and family-owned businesses globally.

Raphaël has trained with some of the thought leaders in the field of leadership development, including Carol Kauffman (Chair of the Institute of Coaching at Harvard), Erica Fox (co-founder of Mobius Leadership and author of (Winning from within), Bob Kegan (Adult Development and Immunity to Change), Jennifer Cohen (Somatics coaching), Jacques-Antoine Malarewicz (systemic approach), Richard Schwartz (Internal Family Systems) and is certified in logotherapy (existential coaching, Victor Frankl / EFRATE).
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Raphaël worked as a Consultant with McKinsey & Company, based in Paris and Warsaw. Previously, he worked in structured finance at Banque Indosuez in Paris.
Raphaël holds an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France and a BA in business economics from ESCP Europe in Paris. He is married with three children and composes classical music in his spare time.
