Namrita Jhangiani, based in Mumbai, is on the Global Leadership Team of Egon Zehnder’s Financial Services Practice, and co-leads the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Practice in India. Previously, she was a leader of the Financial Services Practice in Asia and India, and her experience is rooted in these markets. Namrita advises her clients on issues related to governance, leadership succession, and leadership development.

Helping leaders overcome their personal insecurities and bring their full selves to what they do is deeply rewarding. I am also passionate about creating more inclusive cultures and helping women with potential achieve their career goals.

Before joining Egon Zehnder in 2001, Namrita was a Vice President with eVentures India, a venture capital firm. Earlier, she advised clients at Arthur D. Little and at ANZ Grindlays Bank in Mumbai. Namrita began her career with Bank of America in Mumbai.

Namrita has a BA in economics from St Xavier’s College in Mumbai and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a nonexecutive director on the board of Jai Hind College and a trustee of the Heritage and Environment Protection Association. Namrita is married with two teenage children. Outside of work, she enjoys history, art, antiques, good food and wine, and collecting handwoven saris.
