Based in Madrid, Luis Baón is a trusted advisor on talent assessment, management appraisal, and leadership consulting. He is active in Egon Zehnder’s Financial Services, Private Equity, Industrial, and Consumer practices.

I’m passionate about solving people issues, especially when clients need clear guidance and candid, straightforward advice.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Luis was Head of Corporate Development & Strategy at Bergé Group. Previously, he was CFO of Bergé’s photovoltaic cell and module producer, Isofotón. Luis began his career at Merrill Lynch, where he was a Research Analyst and worked in the Equity Capital Markets division.

Luis has a BA in business administration from ICADE University and an Executive MBA from IESE Business School in Madrid. He is a passionate triathlon competitor and a skilled golfer and skier. He also enjoys baking for his four children. Luis has been designated as a Fellow of the Institute of Coaching of Harvard University for his deep development work with clients as Leadership Advisor.
