Executive Assessment

Whether through internal promotion or external hire, finding the right senior executive to join your business’s upper management takes a great deal of time and research. Rather than rely on CVs and interviews alone, the right executive assessment process helps determine the best person for the job—and your business—on a candidate-by-candidate basis. 

We conduct more detailed annual senior executive assessments of global candidates than anyone else in the marketplace. Over the past three years alone, we have assessed over 10,000 individuals.

Egon Zehnder’s Approach to Executive Assessment

The Egon Zehnder executive assessment process is based on our proprietary Potential Model. This moves beyond experience and evaluates an executive’s potential to succeed in larger, more complex roles. We layer in behavioural and competency assessments, psychometric analysis, and 360-degree referencing to ensure that you truly understand your executives’ strengths—and where they need the most help.  

All of our executive assessments are carried out by a team of people who we have previously hired directly from a senior executive or advisor role, as well as top experts in leadership development. This team has a deep understanding of the specific challenges that businesses in your sector face. We have also partnered with Mobius Executive Leadership, which has allowed us to create the best possible assessment and development process.

Once we have formed a clear picture of an executive’s capabilities through our series of competency assessments, we can partner with you on arguably the most important stage: executive development. We offer customized programs for individuals and teams, as well as an invitation-only Executive Breakthrough Program. Conducted in partnership with Mobius, this is specially designed for the most senior leaders.
