Hélène Reltgen, a core member of Egon Zehnder’s Global Board and CEO Practices, led the firm’s Global and European Technology & Communications Practices for 10 years. Beforehand she also founded and headed the Global Digital Practice. Hélène’s work concentrates on the areas of CEO succession, board advisory, senior leadership development, and organizational change.


Hélène draws on nearly 20 years of experience for mastering leadership challenges. Among other things, she has headed multiple CEO succession projects for CAC 40 and SBF 120 companies as well as private-equity and venture-backed enterprises. In addition, Hélène has contributed to several Fortune 500 CEO successions in the technology, digital and media sectors. She focuses on leadership and organizational change situations in technology disruption and M&A contexts across all tech-impacted sectors, including financial, industrial, and consumer products and services. Hélène is a core member of Egon Zehnder’s Global Digital Transformation, CIO & CTO, and Diversity & Inclusion Practices and has developed and led several of the firm’s global client relationships.

Hélène supplements her work for Egon Zehnder by serving as a Non-Executive Director of Alpha MOS, a stockmarket-listed company that designs and manufactures analytical instruments. She is also a Board Member and General Secretary of the Harvard Business School Club de France and contributes to a number of pro bono causes including women, education and art.

Helene earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from ESSEC in France. She is also certified and trained in various fields of coaching and leadership innovation.
