Andrea Kinder, based in Dallas, is active across Egon Zehnder’s Industrial practices while focusing mainly on Machinery & Industrial Technology. She is a valued advisor to private equity-backed, public, and privately owned organizations, helping them mine the talent pipeline for candidates to fill executive positions and other roles that drive growth via strategy, business development, products and technology. Many of her clients work at the intersection of industrial and technology or are in the process of migrating to digitally enabled products or services. Andrea also belongs to the Firm’s CEO Search & Succession and Board Consulting practices. A special interest of hers is helping to drive greater gender diversity in manufacturing and industry by promoting qualified women.

Andrea has held a variety of roles at Egon Zehnder, working as a Research Analyst, Research Associate, and then Research Principal & Global Practice Specialist in the Firm’s Industrial Practice Group before becoming an Associate Consultant. Earlier in her career she held an engineering position at GE Aviation and served as a liaison engineer with Boeing.
Andrea earned a BS in aerospace engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. She sits on the family advisory board of the local children’s hospital, is actively involved in various associations for promoting women in manufacturing and engineering professions, and is keenly interested in startups, venture capital, and entrepreneurial activities that positively impact manufacturing in the U.S. In her private life, Andrea is an avid reader and enjoys playing
