Julie Chen, based in New York, is an active member of Egon Zehnder’s Executive Assessment and Development Practice. She draws on extensive experience at top management consulting and leadership advisory firms to advise boards, CEOs, and executive teams on C-suite succession planning, executive talent management, leadership assessment and development, board effectiveness, and organizational change.

I love connecting with people and hearing their stories. I am energized by helping executives discover more about themselves and how their leadership style and preferences influence their relationships, work, and success.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Julie served as the Director of Consulting Services and Analytics at Nadler Advisory Services, where she advised boards of directors, CEOs, and executive teams on issues related to executive leadership, corporate governance, and organization performance. Previously, she was a Principal Consultant at Oliver Wyman and Senior Associate in Mercer’s Organizational Research and Effectiveness Group.

Julie earned a BA in psychology from the University of California at Berkeley, then an MA and a PhD in industrial/organizational psychology from New York University. She is a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the American Psychological Association.
