Klaus Eberhard heads Egon Zehnder’s Stuttgart office and is a member of the Industrial Practice with a particular focus on disruptive technologies in the mobility / automotive, energy and building industries. He is passionate about helping clients make fundamental technology shifts a reality by building their leadership teams, boosting team effectiveness, and navigating the challenges of their fast-paced, complex business environments.

In today’s dynamic world, excellent leadership is what makes the difference. Helping clients identify and develop capable leaders is what energizes me.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Klaus served as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company in Stuttgart and Vienna, focusing on strategy, organization, and transformation in the automotive, machinery and defense industries.

Klaus earned a BA in business administration and an MA in strategy and international Management from the University of St. Gallen before going on to complete a PhD (Dr. rer. Pol.) at the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.

Klaus Eberhard leitet das Stuttgarter Büro von Egon Zehnder und ist Mitglied der Industrie-Praxisgruppe. Sein Schwerpunkt liegt auf disruptiven Technologien in den Sektoren Automobil und Mobilität, Energie und Bau. Klaus Eberhard unterstützt unsere Klienten dabei, durch die Zusammenstellung ihrer Führungsteams und die Weiterentwicklung ihrer Leadership-Kompetenzen fundamentalen technologischen Wandel in dynamischen und komplexen Umfeldern effektiv voranzutreiben.

In seiner früheren Position als Engagement Manager bei McKinsey & Company sammelte Klaus Eberhard Erfahrungen in Strategie-, Organisations- und Transformationsprojekten in der Automobil- und Maschinenbauindustrie sowie im Verteidigungssektor.

Klaus Eberhard hat Betriebswirtschaft sowie Strategie und Internationales Management an der Universität St. Gallen studiert. Seine akademische Ausbildung schloss er mit einer Promotion an der WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management ab.
