Caspar von Blomberg, based in Munich, leads Egon Zehnder’s Public and Social Sector Practice in Germany. He advises governments, state-owned enterprises, international organizations, associations, NGOs and foundations in their recruitment and development requirements for top leaders. He is also an expert in corporate sustainability, EHS and CSR. Beyond this, he has comprehensive experience with CFOs and finance managers in large corporates, family-owned businesses and Private Equity portfolio companies as well as with top leadership requirements in Banking.

Before joining Egon Zehnder’s team, Caspar was Managing Director of the CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project), which works with shareholders and companies to develop and drive sustainable business models and practices. Earlier, he led corporate strategy departments at Allianz, Dresdner Bank, and AXA, and advised multinational clients on corporate finance and M&A transactions. Caspar began his career as a credit analyst at Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt.
Caspar earned an M.A. in modern history, American studies, and drama from the University of Munich and an M.Sc. (econ) in International Relations from the London School of Economics. He co-founded the Fundación Arco Iris, which strives to improve the situation of street children and marginalized young people in La Paz, Bolivia.
