Based in Milan, Anna Cartasso is an active member of Egon Zehnder’s Financial Services Practice. Her strong background in banking and insightful, empathetic approach excellently qualify her to help clients in this sector achieve greater success.
What really motivates me is striving to understand how a given role is embodied by a flesh-and-blood person with their unique personality, story and motivations. I’m genuinely fascinated by helping people grow and become the best possible versions of themselves in a work context.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Anna worked first as an analyst and then as a banking supervisor at the European Central Bank in Frankfurt, and before that also held the role of banking supervisor at the French Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority. She began her career in international sales at INTERSCIENCE near Paris.
Anna earned a BA in comparative political science from the Peoples’ Friendship University of Moscow (RUDN University), a master’s degree from Sciences Po Bordeaux, and an Executive MBA from the SDA Bocconi School of Management. She is multilingual, speaking English, Italian and Russian in addition to her native French. Outside work, Anna is passionate about dancing, having worked as a dance teacher and performed professionally.
