He leads CEO, CFO and CxO searches for global multinationals, midsized companies, and family-owned businesses. And advises Boards on their composition and collaboration. Leo is also a trusted advisor for management appraisal, leadership development, leadership team assessment, and team journeys.

Before coming to Egon Zehnder, Leo was a Manager at the Boston Consulting Group in Munich, where he advised industrial clients with a particular focus on the automotive and machinery sector. He also served as BCG’s Recruiting Director in Germany.
Leo earned a BA in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Munich and a master’s in industrial and production engineering from the Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich. When off work, he enjoys traveling, skiing with his children, and opening a bottle of good wine with his wife and friends.

Er berät globale Unternehmen sowie mittelständische und Familienunternehmen bei der Besetzung von CEO-, CFO- und CxO-Positionen. Er unterstützt seine Klienten dabei, Top-Führungspersönlichkeiten zu entwickeln sowie die Effizienz ihrer Führungsteams zu verbessern. Leo Barth ist außerdem Experte für die Besetzung von Aufsichts- und Beiratspositionen sowie für die Weiterentwicklung dieser Gremien.
Vor seiner Zeit bei Egon Zehnder war Leo Barth Principal bei der Boston Consulting Group. Dort verantwortete er für die Groß- sowie Automobil-Industrie Change-Projekte mit besonderem Fokus auf Strategie und Organisation. Zeitgleich war er Recruiting Director für die Boston Consulting Group Deutschland.
Nach einem Vordiplom im Fach Elektrotechnik an der Technischen Universität München schloss Leo Barth sein Studium als Diplom-Ingenieur in Betriebs- und Produktionswissenschaften an der ETH Zürich ab.
