Patrick O’Brien, based in New York, has deep expertise in insurance and consumer finance. He is a trusted advisor on executive and board recruitment for banking clients. Patrick is active in Egon Zehnder’s Board Consulting, CEO, Financial Services, and Financial Officers Practices.

I leverage a global team at Egon Zehnder to help our multinational insurance and retail financial services clients find outstanding talent.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Patrick held a number of leadership positions at General Electric and Allstate. He was also a Divisional President with Allstate and a member of the company’s executive committee for emerging businesses.

Patrick has a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, an MS in fire protection engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and an MBA from Columbia University. He and his wife have three children, and he is passionate about exploring the world through travel.
