Peiyi Chen, based in Singapore, is a core member of Egon Zehnder’s Health Practice. She advises leading organizations on their leadership transformations, including executive search and succession planning. Peiyi brings 10+ years of deep experience in Biotech, MedTech, and Management Consulting in both Asia and US markets. She also draws on her breadth of functional expertise across Strategic Planning & Operations, Marketing, Sales, Market Access, among others. In addition, Peiyi is passionate about sustainability and DE&I.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Peiyi was selected for Amgen’s leadership development program, rotating through critical commercial functions at the company’s global headquarters in Los Angeles. During this tenure, she drove business growth and innovations, including commercializing Oncology assets across global markets, launching a breakthrough Neuroscience medicine, leading sales execution, and spearheading organizational transformations. Prior to Amgen, she served as a Strategic Planning Manager at Johnson & Johnson Medical, based in Shanghai. In this capacity, she led strategic initiatives spanning China’s growth strategy, organizational transformation, local manufacturing, and regulatory strategy. Peiyi launched her career at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants.
Peiyi holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from Yale University, an MBA from Kellogg School of Management, and a Bachelor’s Degree with Honors in Economics and Psychology from University of California, Davis. Peiyi is a proud mom of twin toddlers. She enjoys quality time with her family, exploring the local food scene, dancing, traveling, and interior design.
