I really enjoy hiring outstanding leaders and helping them — and their teams — to be the best that they can be.
Before joining Egon Zehnder in 2007, Richard spent five years with the Boston Consulting Group advising on business and organisation strategy across the financial services sector. He also served clients in the music, retail, pharmaceutical, and food-manufacturing industries. Earlier in his career, he was an investment banker at Lehman Brothers on their global energy team.
Richard has an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, an MProf in sustainable development from Middlesex University, and a BA in English language and literature from New College at Oxford University. With his wife, Richard enjoys keeping up with his sons on an ever growing number of musical instruments, including piano, viola, trumpet, drums and guitar.
