Ellen Garvey-Das, based across London and Amsterdam, co-leads Egon Zehnder’s global Private Capital Practice. She advises clients on senior searches for the fund and portfolio.
Before joining Egon Zehnder, Ellen was a private equity professional. She joined Egon Zehnder from Lion Capital , a consumer-focused private equity firm, where she was a Principal in the deal team for several years before moving over to the fundraising and investor relations team. Ellen started her career on the direct investment team of AlpInvest Partners in Amsterdam.
Ellen holds an MSc in economics and an MA in law from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She completed her MBA at INSEAD in Singapore and Fontainebleau, France.
Alongside her work, Ellen is an advisor to Level 20’s mentoring program. Level 20 is an organization that promotes women in the private equity sector.
