Luis Mateo Dilmer

Luis Mateo is a consultant of Egon Zehnder based in Madrid and Barcelona. He is active on a wide range of industries where he advises companies and their shareholders on a broad range of leadership topics including filling executive positions and providing leadership assessment.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Luis worked in the Investment Banking Division of Credit Suisse where he was a Senior Member of its Healthcare Group. Luis worked in several roles in different locations (London, New York and Madrid) including leading the Healthcare Services vertical in EMEA and all Healthcare-related activities in Iberia.

Luis is a Superior Industrial Engineer from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (having read his Thesis in the Tokyo Institute of Technology) and an MBA from INSEAD. Outside of work, Luis is a lecturer at ESADE Business School where he teaches several finance and Investment Banking-related courses. In his spare time, he loves spending time with his family, including his wife and three daughters, and enjoying the company of his friends. When time permits, he is also an avid reader of history and sociology books.
